Really? Hello?

Dear four readers,

yes…again those pants from BP*, again those trainers from UBU and I am NOT sorry!

For those who have missed (Really? Hello?) the existence of BP*‘s new(ish) denims with enough leg-room to hide two cats or smaller dogs:
They’re available in different colours, all with different colour options for the chequered parts (blue, purple, red/white). The leg parts come with a script so you may even go two toned.

For those who have missed (Really? Hello?) the existence of UBU‘s new(ish) trainers with enough style possibilities to hide the fact, that’s it’s really just one pair:
They come with a barkingly handy hud to colourise/texturise all those different parts of the shoe you wouldn’t even know a name for. There’s no sound, no bling, but glow! Yay!

The blouse I am wearing there *points downwards* is from Kurotsubaki and yet another frequently seen combination with those pants. No, I am NOT sorry! It comes in two options, one with a bigger opening down there. Of course it’s available in different colours/patterns as well. Kurotsubaki has a good choice of hippieesque (What?!) clothes, if you don’t know the store  (Really? Hello?) you should check it out! NOW!

The hair from Mirai Style has a lovingly added script to change the bandanna, which styles are available can be seen on the vendor…I couldn’t find them in the demo version though. Mirai Style offers unusual hair colours, interesting textures and of course crazy hair-styles. It’s one of my favourites to stop by in the search of hair-explosions. *hrhr* (Yes, that’s for you, Bunny!♥)

I haven’t changed my favourite skin maker (LeLutka! This is my first from the Helsinki-line. Some people hate this brand, I love the skins (not the price) *sighs*) but my eyeball-maker! Yay! These are from Poetic Eyes and I’ve seen them quite often on Flickr . At last I got bored by my usual brown eyes from LeLutka…my favourite colour is shallow water. They’re making the blue ones worn here look boring…almost…oh and they come in three sizes!

This one feels like ages ago…in SL-terms it is ages ago. *shrugs*

Just to be sure, I checked if the pants are still available and they are! Yay!
As far as I can remember this was the result of an attack (*yawns*) at Glam World, now LeLutka where I grabbed the skin, hair and the pants from Cachet (available in different tones). The sim’s closed from today for renovations, so my SLurls won’t work and may even be wrong. Sorry for that.
With that on my avatar there was still some colour missing and I chose this red top from ~momo~, which goes nicely with the colour of the lips.

Nutty in Felt

On Flickr I stumpled across the image of one of those lovely felt dresses from Swallowtail (you’ll find mainly jewellery there). As I’m more on the slow side, I can’t remember which pic it was and of course not from whom. (I did a 20Min search through my blahy comments, but couldn’t find it.)

Those dresses look very simple (duh!) but the same time they’re very well made. The edges around the collar are rather sharp(ish) and the prims fit very well. The skirt is made out of two simple prims, you still should use a skirt-shape (no bum, no saddle) so nothing’s poking out. The shading around the boat neckline gives a bit less boxy look. (I really don’t know why I only have this one dress…*shrugs*)
The pink on the very right has in fact just one pink tone, somehow the things behind it shine through…Sorry for that -.-
For the dress that I’m wearing, you can remove/thin the horizontal white line by moving the skirt-attachment up and down. The pants are mod, so you could (if you want) have tights/leggings in matching colours; the prim-skirt is mod, all other parts are no mod.

When I bought this dress, I was actually planning on a normal outfit…nothing crazy, nutty, stupid this time. Just some sleek, clean 60s look. I bet the socks and shoes (from Corduroy and Periquita (see! You NEED them!)) were fine…but then I went sim-tping-crazy looking for hair. I can’t remember what happened…somehow I ended up with that Scary Spice-Do from Aden! No wonder I look so stiff…you have to be careful there, noone wants a cracked neck (maybe your Ex or your neighbour though…hmm). At that point I gave up and got me that cute primbomb from LittleGirl. Whenever you give up on looking normal, you’ll find funny dolls (tea-/coffee-/greentea-dolls) and other furry friends there. The thing is jumping up and down, moves its eyes and blahs something when you click on it. It took me around 50,000 tries to get it jump up in front of that non-white dot behind me.

ARGL! I took those pix days ago and now I finally manage to scribble it down! Wow!

I hope you all know Tokoro who’s just opened her own store Bombon! Then you might have seen the skin I’m wearing already. It’s an edited version of one of the Another Skin skins from Eloh Eliot, which is not for sale. So if you like the skin very much, why don’t you get yourself a nice tunic from Bombon instead? 😉

The pants are part of an outfit I got from Cachet the other day . For this outfit I only used the pants (duh!) and the undershirt layer…that’s the thing around the breasts. The lovely shirt (Look! Look! Look! The flowery pattern on the back matches the eye make-up OMG!) is from Twosome and comes in various layers and colours. The earrings from Paper Couture screem the same Look! Look! Look! as the shirt…can you hear it? *listens to the funny voice*

Dress on a Stick

There were a lot of discussions going on about Minnu and skins and clothes and RL-designers and blah. That actually forced me one fine day into Cachet. It’s not that I don’t care about bad things, but I prefer the Swiss side and wait for others to decide whether illegal things are going on or not, so I can be just the silly shopaholic I love to be *hrhr*.
What made me jump up and down is the prim corsetlike part, which I’ve never seen before (bear in mind that I usually prefer a shirt with F@*K on it over a nice flowery dress). It made the fitting quite easy and the prims never poke awkwardly out of your body. I haven’t tried it on the more normal-sized or even thicker avatar-shapes though. The texture is of amazing quality and as you can see on the primskirt part, very cleverly distributed (yep, I don’t know what I’m talking about, I have no clue how clothes are made, but it seemed to me different and special).

To take away the BBQ-is-over-poor-all-alone-spit-look I combined the dress with rather simple white clothes and jewellery. The shrug is part of a Last Call outfit (in case you’re really keen and bored, type “Alizee” in search on the right) and covers the bony upper frame nicely. The earrings are from Paper Couture. They have amazing jewellery there (apart from other amazing stuff). This pair is so simple and elegant, almost too womanly for me *scratches herself*…but a great match (Oh, there’s the word again!). The toeless prim socks from Maitreya make the sticks look a bit thicker and more robust if you will. (Yes I really thought/think that.)

By now I’ve changed this shape a lot. Back then in April it was an experiment like any other and I just didn’t stick with it.

Anyone’s seen the title?

Bah! It took me all day to give up! Not that I’m sitting here for four hours, starring on the screen trying to think of some catchy title…it’s not that bad with me…I hope…

This look started with the legwarmers from Primitive Design. I have a thing for those leg-wrappers in general and so it’s no surprise that something with flexi-prims, barbed wire and blood stains might attract my interest. They are available in several colours, most of them in black-blah combinations and one rainbow, which isn’t really a colour bomb, simply all available colours in one thing. Surely I’d like to see something like that in a more girlie version, but who would be buying that except me? *dreams of bunnies on pink with flowers and barbed wire, blood* hm…

Since the shape isn’t the tallest (and I didn’t want to change it), I decided to get a very short skirt from Dutch Touch. I really love this store, but the problem with it is that I like EVERYTHING! So I told myself a few days before that (yes, I talk to myself, but at least not aloud) next time you check Dutch Touch and get SOMETHING! I did what I was told…*hrhr* Oh, while I’m at it…Looking very much forward to this!

The rest was waiting in my inventory and I was able (at last!) to get me that funny curly something (for the head) from BooN! Yay!

OMG I put my arm in a mangle!

Oh dear, poor me…and poor you! That’s as funny as it get’s this time!

I decided to make a double post (duh!). The outfits are very similar..mainly plain casual and very much wearable in RL. Not that I wouldn’t wear all the stuff that I post…except for that hungry-bum-thingy…

I quenched my thirst for Very Much Blahblah (aka Tres Blah) at Armidi. (I know, it’s not Tres Blah anymore, but it’s the same designer, so I don’t care.) It was sooo hard to chose, ’cause all the colours are lovely. Luckily Armidi does not offer fat-packs, which I easily choose if I don’t know what colour it should be. Phew!

Those cute shorts are from D!FF and therefore not available anymore (Hello!? How can you give up such a nice store? Hello!?…Oh, Echo…it’s you…*yawns*).

I’d like to point out for the colour-blind amongst you: (OMG) The shoes match the colours of the hairs! (hmm, weird sentence, but you got the point) The shoes (right bitch) were a pain in the kneecap. How can Maitreya offer 3000 different shades of black? (My my! I’m a bit whiny lately!)

Regarding the picture itself….I’ve just noticed now, that the stomach-area looks funny because of the slightly bend forward posture. There’s nothing wrong with the the tops! It’s not you, it’s me! *cries*

The tank worn on the left can be taken off, if you’re in a flashy mood..or you can wear other shirts underneath, ’cause sweater can be worn on jacket-layer. Yay!

Lazy Days are over!

That’s what I hope and some of you are dreaming of the opposite…har-har!

Those of you, who are risking an eye by taking a look at my flickr from time to time, might have seen this *points down there* (as usual: not THERE!) already. Although it doesn’t look like one, but it is actually a very low cost outfit…I’m not talking about L$, I’m talking about the Avatar Rendering Costs! I really do enjoy those kind of stuff, I even enjoy staring on graphs, street maps and anything boring…erm…back to topic!

You know those days, when you want to look worn out, used and like your cat’s litter box? I have my favourite stores for this, and those are beautifully combined in this outfit….Awwww!

AVZ, always great with hair and surprising with clothes; Primitive Design, my prim-heaven and bymiaSnow for the right scratch and bruise and occasional dunno-what-was-put-in-my-drink-that-night-tattoo. Zero Number (not much choice in-store, but they last a million scruffy nights out), the ones built to last!

As simple as the coat/jacket might look, it’s fab! It has the right shadows at the right spots (uuuhhh…and it’s for the men as well!)…the lower part is a skirt, but don’t worry…if you put your arse and saddle to zero, it’s perfect. Those thingies on the shoulders are prims, so you don’t have to wear them…thinking about it…a matching belt would have been nice…*stops thinking now!*

Oh, and the denims are from Armidi! Regular Industrial has the right oh, did I sleep with the rubbish bins behind the club/pub/mom’s house again?-Look.

Yes, I spent too much time in the fresh air for over a week…I know, it’s bad….

Is that a dachshund?

First: Versteck has a new location and a cute little sale going on! Everything 25L$! Shop!

My last two outfits were too kind to the eyes, so now it’s time again for some “looking like I stepped out of a child’s colouring book“…*hrhr* (taken from a comment on some blog on some very popular topic yesterday)

In case you’re reading this, because you got attracted by the main pic, I’m telling you no news, that KUROTSUBAKI is packed with cute, innovative, affordable stuff. I found this jacket, when I was doing a bit of shop-hopping just to kill some time. I’d been quite a few times at that store (the former main-store it was) but had never noticed those adorable bright thingies! Argh! Although the red appealed to me the most, I chose the yellow one. Yellow isn’t really that popular for clothes/fashion, so I had the smell of challenge up my nose (and my finger…yikes!) and of course I loved the UK-theme going on…(could that sausage-dog pass as a corgi?). Please note the prim-details for the arms, which makes the whole thing look more girly and less unisex.

Besides the hair, the rest came easily together. The T-shirt from Thimbles was living in my inventory since I first noticed the store (poor thing!). I bought it, because it was so ugly…three totally different patterns in one shirt! Yay! It really gives the whole outfit a nice little push out of the yellow and the blue in it connects with the denim-skirt. The skirt and the leg-warmers (heaters!) satisfied my daily dose of BP* for that day. Since I keep all hair-demos I ever liked, I found this hair from Cake…nothing new really, but a great match with its rather scruffy, messed-up look.

OMG Pink again!

When I decide to wear pink, then it must be really special. When there’s even glitter in the shoes and not many other colours around…very suspicious. (Don’t ask, how I mean that, because I don’t know myself. *harhar*)

When I bought the brown dress with daisy-print from AOHARU (s. earlier post) I saw these blouses and HAD to get me one as well. It comes with two prim attachments for each arm. On the pic you can only see the upper ones. The turtle-neck and the lower sleeve-prims should be worn in any case, because the edges are not meant to be visible, if you know what I mean 😉 Can’t really remember why I wanted the pink one. Maybe I had those bright pink shoes in the back of my mind? So this is a very simple and sleek outfit, which I usually wouldn’t prefer but every part of it is so well made, that it’s really a joy to wear it.

Electricity for Styling Purposes

I finally got something together with those socks! Bet no one read it, but I was whining about being unable to wear them *points to crazy-nutty-scrabblogmadness-pic* (Thanks Ana! It’s your fault! ;-)) with the white or at least light pink base. Thanks to Tuli‘s GRRRRREAT group-present I had one basic skin of each skin tone of her still new S5 series, goth tone included. Trying on the socks, the white of the skin yelled at me: You can do it! (Actually it didn’t yell, it was more a satisfactory feeling you get, when you put stuff on your avatar’s shape.)

The problem with Tuli-skins: You always look great! Perfect complexion, perfect coverage for your lips, wonderfully defined details…*sighs* BUT in this case this was just what I was looking for, because I didn’t want to look dead. Let’s say…freshly dead the most (least?). I’d like to stress, the skin’s not from the group present though. I chose one from the so called sweet make-ups. The lips match the pink in the socks…that blue-ish colour around the eyes doesn’t disturb the whole look too much, I think.

The rest came easily together from my NEW!-folder, where I usually throw everything in what I find on my way. The dungarees (*hihi* hot version) are actually from a set with top, socks and everything.

Aden‘s hair’s so crazy, that you get an automatic permit to wear that and still look hot/cute/beautiful/nuts. I have to admit, I bought the bang, which is covering my HUUGE forehead only last week. But it really was needed, otherwise, I wouldn’t have blogged about it.

SHEEEELBY!!!!!

I heard shelby Wrangler the first time, when I was shopping around Caribe. She was shouting with someone else for hours (well, maybe it were just a few minutes until I joined the shouting 😉 ). We had a little chitchat and since then we occasionally hear each other. She usually shouts around like crazy, even (or especially?) in busy fashion events/sales. But I have to admit the last time…I started the shout, which was February the 7th (wow, you were wondering about the date, weren’t you?). That’s when she told me about her new shop Twosome which she runs with her friend Visa Volare. The latter is responsible for the gorgeous shirts they have on offer. The green top was the first to jump into my eye (Yeah, it still hurts!). Combined with warming armwarmers from UnTone Quilt (it’s still cold and you wouldn’t want to cover up the top, right?), Tres Blah denims and comfy boots from Maitreya this makes a cute casual outfit.

Grandma, can I have this?

One fine day…*blahblah* I explored the sim around the BP*-store and ran into Grandma just around the corner. The dress I’m wearing immediately caught my eye…it took me until the 1L$-sale at corduroy (where I bought almost everything) that I decided to finally buy it. Grandma’s like a second-hand-store. You can almost smell the mothballs! I’d say it’s impossible to find something unicolour in her store. The new(?) main store with its bookshelves, crazy carpets and wallpapers doesn’t really aim for a sleek design. There’s even a mattress on the shelves, in case you might get tired and a loo as well! Do I have to mention, that the items don’t burn a hole in your purse? My dress is just 80 L$, most tops are priced at 50L$ and the coats are 180L$. The upper half of the dress comes in all possible layers! Yay!

The orange hair from ETD and the skin from Minnu fits the dress perfectly (that was a little fight). The shoes were another pain in the knee, only these rather simple looking plateaus worked for me and they actually offer an interesting sight down there (No! Lower!).

Yes, I HAD to get another pair of those lovely, blood splattered Fight Club Punk Pants. The shirt fell into my inventory quietly, so did the shoes…luckily it’s a pretty good match. Although the pants come with a printed on belt, I decided to buy the matching prim-belt (which I love) in the same colours.

The picture might look a bit funny to some, I chose a weird angle…rather from the top, so the body looks too short and too thin for that explosion of hair 😉
