Yummy Dotty!

2009-05-25_00021

Back to colours! Yay!

I can’t remember what happened in January, the same goes with this outfit. (Huh? o.ô)

The Dotty Deliciousness from Twosome can be worn as a tunic (also with a see-through primy thingy) or as a skirt and a short top. Wearing both, tunic and skirt looks a bit christmastreeish, but if that’s what you’re looking for? *shrugs* It’s priced only 120L$! Yay!

I threw this on in January, so I guess because it was still winter I decided to wear some dirty denims from Primitive Design with it. They go lovely with the post party skin from Tuli, which was a freebie. I’m not sure if it’s still available…but Tuli has a great choice of…er…great skins! 😉
The bangles from Fresh Baked Goods can be colourised like crazy. Look, how I matched the colours of the dress…or not…*coughs* SOREAL‘s Superstars are not that versatile as UBU’s trainers, but come in several styles and with the fat-pack comes one pair with an easy choose-your-style-hud. Yay! (again)

Headless Chicken

2009-05-10_00003I’m an expert in getting injured at home. Never something serious but scratches here, colourful (yay!) bruises there. Running into my bathroom shelf is always a joy!

That I love Drowsy might be a known fact amongst my three readers, but my favourite is the tomboy shirt. A simple white shirt with added bandages, bruises and plasters! Yay!
When checking out the new(ish) skins from Fashionably Dead I was surprised to see the Trouble Lady, on Flickr I mainly saw crazy brows or no-brows. Unfortunately the demos only provide the choice of skin-tones, not make-ups. Please be aware of the upper body part (s. pic), as there’s a bandage wrapped around…oh, and they don’t have ANYthing down there. So a prim-genitalia might be a nice addition if in…er…action. 😉

2009-05-10_00004No need to stress that I instantly had the tomboy shirt back on and also found the glasses from Skinzor Liquid Candy in my inventory with cute attached razor blade…Yay!

All those bandages, bruises, blood made me think of a rather simple outfit. The banana-top is from the Cheer you up tops! range from Twosome! Yay! (See, it’s working!). See Shelby’s Flickr for full choice of tops! The colour (harhar) matching shoes from LOTTA come with scripted colour-changeable bows and have a mid-high heel (in SL-standards).

I added some cute and cheerful bracelets and a belt, the latter being part of one of Tuli‘s amazing group-presents. The denim thingy from BUKKA can be changed in fabric and metal-parts via a menu. Yay!

For a better view, please click the pic of your desire. 🙂

Pooping Rainbow Bubbles

First a big Thank You to Mira who bravely fed my bunnies!

Secondly…I’M BÄCK! Well, I’m back for a week, but I was very busy getting back into old habits like spending ridiculous amounts of time in front of that evil machine and clearing up unread blogs, Plurk, Flickr, in-world messages.

My beloved two readers know I like sitting on my blogy fence (aha?) but the last few days even I felt an urge to say something….I’ll make it quick/short/not too blahy.

I like to scan WordPress for Second Life related blog posts through this feed. This gives me the occasional random post about SL by a non-SLer or a newbie which can be interesting, but lately (I don’t have to tell you, I hope) there were a lot of random blahs by non-SLers thanks to the beloved (ex-)couple. As I like to keep it short…erm…I’ll keep it short.

  1. Just because there’s one guy having a prostitute in a virtual world, this doesn’t mean that we all do it! Not anyone is into slex.
  2. Why is it so hard to understand how sex’s is happening in SL? Everybody of a certain age will have some understanding about phone-sex and won’t question how genitals could be squeezed through the wire. SL makes it possible to do that on different levels (voice, text and most of all visual).
  3. Get a life!, Get a hobby! and Reality check! is causing bad skin reactions on me. I have a life and so does everybody else enjoying SL. SL is a hobby for me, for others it’s a platform to escape their FL/RL, which I believe is a healthy thing as long as you don’t forget it’s your second life and not your first. Other people collect stamps or empty beer cans. I feel that those people (often mentioned on those look at those weirdos-posts) have a general allergy against computer-related hobbies.
  4. Whenever you read something about Second Life (Thanks media for picking up the bad stuff, who wants to read about creative, intelligent people?) how can you assume every resident/customer (harhar) is the same? I’m not “those people” or a “weirdo” just because that lovely couple shares a hobby with me.
  5. Has anyone of those weirdos understood the story in full? It seems to me “Second Life” “leggings” and “sex” causes the same instant reaction for many bloggers out there. Second Life has absolutely nothing to do with their inability to have a healthy relationship!
  6. I’m done…I think…I hope.

Fashion Blah from here!!!

This outfit is one of my favourites, something that I’d like to pick if I have to change quickly to something normal(ish). Both, top and pants are from beloved Twosome, which, as usual, come in 3000 layer-options so you could wear anything you like under the knitted vest…or over it. The top is available in different colours, the pants are only coming in blue, but in two versions (the other being more shiny). If you’re an angel like me *coughs* better wear some knickers under those pants, otherwise (depending on your skin) hair might be visible.

Since there wasn’t enough colour in it for me, I combined it with all time favourites: Hair from my very first hair-fat-pack (aww!) from Naughty, my usual flats from Periquita and the not for sale skin made by Tokoro on base of a Another Skin…er…skin.

hmm….grilled aubergine….hmm

Yep, stupid title…as usual…

This outfit started from the skin. The skin was a group-present from atilleri and as you can see has a purple/lilac/lavender/blah make-up. Not really the colours I’d usually go for, but since I liked the look of the skin I tried a lot of my inventory with it.
Luckily I had a shop-all-you-think-you-don’t-have-and-looks-half-decent-attack at Twosome the other day, so an aubergine (Yay! Title connection!) coloured cute vest popped up.

I combined it with an old friend from ♥ Cupcakes…the shorts.
Please excuse me blogging summer’s gladiators, this outfit is from early July. These are from J’s and come with the famous real toes. So real…you only have four, but who cares if you can change the nail polish and the toe ring? The adjustment to your skin tone could be tricky, but it’s possible. For the friends of feet: Please click the pic to get a bigger view!

Blahing in Circles

Sorry, I’m awfully slow lately when it comes to actually bloging an outfit, even if the picture is waiting for days. *sighs*

This is one of my favourites and it still manages to cheer me up when I change into it (not today though).
It’s the result of a C’mon! There must be something to wear in here!-inventory moments. I had bought a lot of stuff here and there but haven’t put it in proper outfits.

The cute shirt is one of my favourites from Twosome. The design is absolutely unique with its circles around the neck and two circles escaping to your pants/skirt/whatever it is you’re wearing down there.
The shorts from AOHARU are one of the fruits of a hysteric sale-shopping-attack. They come in an amazing amount of colours. The prims for your legs aren’t the easiest to fit hought . You can squeeze and stretch them, but you get them delivered in plain rings, so they won’t match your legs at all from the start (or I have strange legs). I spent a lot of time until I was satisfied to a satisfactory level (aha?), they still don’t fit 100%. So if you hate to fix things to your avatar as much as me, try to avoid them. The shorts are not wearable without them. BUT the colours are great, the textures are pleasing to look at.
Those funnily shaped prims actually brought me to the circle-theme, which forced me to wear this roundly hair from COIF to which I added just a little more cuteness from Hasendow. Aaawww!

For more pix please click picture! 🙂

Bleach is good for your jelly!

ARGL! I took those pix days ago and now I finally manage to scribble it down! Wow!

I hope you all know Tokoro who’s just opened her own store Bombon! Then you might have seen the skin I’m wearing already. It’s an edited version of one of the Another Skin skins from Eloh Eliot, which is not for sale. So if you like the skin very much, why don’t you get yourself a nice tunic from Bombon instead? 😉

The pants are part of an outfit I got from Cachet the other day . For this outfit I only used the pants (duh!) and the undershirt layer…that’s the thing around the breasts. The lovely shirt (Look! Look! Look! The flowery pattern on the back matches the eye make-up OMG!) is from Twosome and comes in various layers and colours. The earrings from Paper Couture screem the same Look! Look! Look! as the shirt…can you hear it? *listens to the funny voice*

In case you still can’t here the voice…listen in on flickr!

When the picture positioning looks messy to you, you have the wrong screen resolution! 😉

Potty with me!

Yep, Potty Training was to hot for a title…even for me…lucky you! (Oh my!)

Your Flickr-nutties might have seen this outfit already (no, I’m not going to write this every time)….

Oookaay!

The default skirt is a good thing for the so called plus size girls. Of course you should reduce your arse and saddle as usual, but not to zero, ’cause it might look very, very weird. I don’t understand, why so many seem to hate the real skirt…I love it! This one comes in a million colours, which makes it easy to fit with any outfit. I decided to wear the more basic denim-version, because there are lots of colours hopping around already. It comes with matching glitch-pants, so you don’t have to worry about frozen legs! Yay!

The jacket is from Digit Darkes, which has some cute little things around the store, very nice little details here and there. Besides the skirt, the rest was lurking around my inventory already. The belt from artilleri was a bit tricky to fit around the waist. OK, there’s a catch with those real skirts…there’s a gap around the waistband, which has to be covered (this only happens, if you can’t put bum/saddle to Zero).

Not much more to say, you can check the whole springiness on flickr.

Oh, the lashes and that thing in my mouth were group-presents from BP*-update-group ♥…aawww!

Chocolate with sushi! Yum!

Anyone who’s spending some time on flickr‘s numerous SL-related groups, may have seen this already. It sounds already manic in my head, but I have to say, it was a huuuuuge stack of fun to shoot…myself…erm. At the end it was hard, to delete too much, because I liked most of them, especially those sitting poses, which are tricky with skirts and most hairs (and I won’t try to get one of the 180 prims of my wig, to make it look “normal”). So if you enjoy the outfit as much as I did (do), you can check out my 345 pix of it on flickr. *harhar*

The shirt from Twosome (Hands up, whose parents/grandparents had that kind of pattern on the wall! *remembers something like that in green, with orange sofas and a very, very, very fluffy and hairy (partly because of the cat-hair in it) rug*) was my starting point and I had to find stuff to go with it. Did a lot of shop/sim-hopping and found some really cute things, like the pants from KUROTSUBAKI, which are FREEEEEE!

I’ve seen quite a few of blogs (Edit: I found the bookmark for the blog-post I’ve seen/read first about them!) mentioning the shoes from Stiletto Moody and this is my first pair. They’re expensive (very!), but they’re the best I’ve seen for classy killer-heels. They come with a ton of options: walkAO, bling, heel-click, adjustable frequency and volume. Personally I prefer the bare settings. You can easily change all that by clicking on your left shoe.

I could go on and on about this, but I don’t want to bore you half to death…enjoy! 😉

SHEEEELBY!!!!!

I heard shelby Wrangler the first time, when I was shopping around Caribe. She was shouting with someone else for hours (well, maybe it were just a few minutes until I joined the shouting 😉 ). We had a little chitchat and since then we occasionally hear each other. She usually shouts around like crazy, even (or especially?) in busy fashion events/sales. But I have to admit the last time…I started the shout, which was February the 7th (wow, you were wondering about the date, weren’t you?). That’s when she told me about her new shop Twosome which she runs with her friend Visa Volare. The latter is responsible for the gorgeous shirts they have on offer. The green top was the first to jump into my eye (Yeah, it still hurts!). Combined with warming armwarmers from UnTone Quilt (it’s still cold and you wouldn’t want to cover up the top, right?), Tres Blah denims and comfy boots from Maitreya this makes a cute casual outfit.
