Recycling…

2009-10-18_00011

…or the a truck drove over my upper part of the body-look.

My three readers might notice a few things were blogged before. I don’t do that very often, especially not for clothes. In this case I wanted to create (hoo!) a certain look (hoo!)….and you can’t deny that the chunky bracelet from TOSL matches the skirt (yes, it’s not a belt!)…at least colour wise. I had to take the close-up for it without my arm…I gained a few pixels and no-mod jewellery sucks. [insert deep sigh here]

I first saw a skirt from Luck Inc. in a picture of Amerie’s flickr stream. She was wearing a black one with cleverly placed skulls on it. You’ll find a huge selection of patterns for that little skirty thingy…to no one’s surprise I also bagged the Checkers Rainbow version.
With all those colours going on some appliance love had to be added. What’s better than a kettle and a rice-cooker rubbing each other in love on your chest? They’re doing it on your back as well, which really keeps you warm at all times. The T-shirt’s from Toastface, made by the lovely Uma Ceawlin. I could also recommend the I ♥ Pocky and the Kawaii desu ne shirt.

Those shoes….I have no idea why I bought them, really. They were collecting inventory dust for months and I already put them from my New!!!-folder (what’s not been used yet, stays “new”) into my normal clothes folder, because I wasn’t able to wear them in a satisfactory manner (aha?). Yaaaay! At last they’re matching the outfit in my sick little brain cell! With the white jacket (recycled from my La Roux inspired *coughs* outfit), the blue and the white and the blah…Tadaha! (Yes, that’s what’s going on in my brain cell!)
I blogged the bruised skin from fashionably dead already, but it’s not really recycled, because I bought it in another skin tone! Yay! XD Again combined with my favourite bruised shirt from Drowsy, which adds some more pain to your arms….and hopefully to some people’s eyes as well!

And the award…

First I’d have to ask: What happened to UnTone Quilt and ::cumu::???

2009-07-24_00011

…for laziest blogger of the century goes to….YAY! ME! I wasn’t even busy, I just wasn’t in the mood…*deep sigh*

For this lovely outfit, which made already a few eyes bled, I might make this video responsible…maybe…

(Hrmpf! Embedding disabled for this one, so please click ME!)

*coughs*

What I love about items from COCO…they’re usually mod and can be tinted, which I didn’t do in this case thanks to the colour-bomb pants/leggings/tights from Amerie’s Naughty. They come in all layers and with two different types of prim-legs. The back is covered with an almost eye-pleasing black-and-white chequered pattern (s. title pic).

Actually I was looking for a long (plain) T-shirt, but couldn’t find anything that made me happy. So I dug deep into my (well sorted) inventory and found this skirt from a set from **DP**yumyum (the one with the shoes on the shirt and the black lace leggings) and the black shirt from Tres Blah.

The bracelets are part of the arm-warmers…in my blurry eyes they match the colours in the leggings perfectly, surprisingly they’re from Amerie’s Naughty as well! 😛

I am hoping that my cry for a Bulletproof-skin on Plurk inspired Nuuna Nitely to do a lovely pack of seven skins with different eye-stripes (aha?). They’re not sold anywhere as of yet, but you can contact her and get the pack for 150L$. From the description it’s a Combined Eloh Eliot’s skin Pleiades, Sezmra Svarog’s Splenor skin…in case you’re interest.

The hair I discovered *huaha* amongst my Flickr contacts, it’s from Vanity Hair. If you’re looking for something more In For The Kill-look (huh?), take a look at Truth‘s Ivy style. (Thanks for the tip, Flutter Memel!)

Oh…and I hope you know of the new pornstars from UBU?

Yay!

2009-05-18_00006

Wow! Amazing title!

I’m quite sure this must have been a coke-infused lovely day back in January. I can’t really remember what started this harmony of colours….*coughs*
The shirt is from Tres Blah and gives joy through different layer-options and a decent choice of colours.
The skirt from UnToneQuilt can be worn without the prim belt, comes with a plain denim-belt as well…and may even be worn without the prim-skirt as shorts. Yay!
All the brownish stuff is available in different colours as well. Regarding the glasses from Yummy, the lenses don’t fit the frame 100%, but who cares with this fab design?…I don’t…The tights from Kookie are no-mod, but come in all bottom layers..so for full coverage you should wear socks and underpants/pants-layer the same time. They go up high, that’s why you can see them between top and skirt. Loads of blah for socks/tights/leggings! Nay!

Yay! It’s time for some newish outfits….even two in one…wow! *barks*

Obviously I love fatpacks, bright colours and Maitreya. Both outfits include the new(ish) top from Primitive Design, both with the same backprint and available in even brighter colours than the orange. Yay! The straps look a bit sloppy, but tests have shown it’s my shape…*shrugs* so covering it up with lovely new hair from Maitreya is a good idea. They’re jacket-layer only btw….*hrmpf* The scarf thingy is from Maitreya as well *yawns*…it comes with a script for easy choice of length, flexi and blah. In this case I set it to flexi and it hardly ever sticks through my avatar’s body. Another yay!

The second outfit started with the OMG SKINS!!!-group present from Curio, which makes me look quite sad, I already chose different eyebrows and still sad…*shrugs* Thanks to the red/pink/orange going on (Firehouse is a well chosen name for this makeup) I chose my current favourite shorts from Pink Outfitters and the orange shirt from PD. Thanks to the jacket-layer only I put on some tattoos from Canimal(top) and anuenue(leg) for warmth as well (I actually did so for the other outfit as well, but I forgot about it, silly me…again…blah). For the dose of Maitreya I added the Coin Belt in Auburn and of course the hair.

For larger and different views, please check my flickr stream (click on one of the pix to get there).

Secrets

2009-01-06_00003

Yep, I suck at creating smashing titles. I really should just give the posts numbers or something *shrugs*

If you scan the feeds the way I do, you might not read this: Happy New Year! I hope you had a lovely Christmas or whatever you spend your time with around the 24/25/26 of December.♥

This outfit started with the hair. It’s from the lucky chair at ::69::, which isn’t available anymore as far as I can see right now. I wasn’t really stalking the chair but got a friendly IM when the letter T came up. I don’t really like insects in my hair, but when I tried on my fruits of my shopping attacks it looked good enough to me.

Wearing already the tutu from Canimal I found this jacket with top (one layer) from Surf Co. in black (Yay for fat-packs!) in the well sorted *coughs* depth of my inventory and the leg warmers from BP* came in handy with their dotty pattern. There’s a tiny problem with the jacket, I don’t know if it’s me, SL or the jacket itself…the seam on one sleeve/shoulder is a bit washed out *shrugs* I don’t care and it’s not visible with that hair…just so that you know 😉

update: The jacket isn’t available anymore! Sorry for that! 😦

Yes, there are cheaper shoes than those from Stiletto Moody but I especially like those cute ones, which have no hooker appeal to me whatsoever (besides I think hooker comes from the person and the rest of the avatar, not only the shoes)…I mean, look at that cute bowy thingy!

Leck mich!

Yep, time for a German(ish) post…again…Sorry! 😉

Stars and Spikes

I am soooo lazy that I heavily annoy myself a lot lately. My brain’s not functioning as it should and I bore myself with English thoughts, so I just decided to write in German. Not many are reading the text anyway…I think. *hrhr*

Blackney & Lacy

This outfit is based on two recommendations from a friend, Peter Stindberg (the one with the sofas ;-)).

One TP to +*susie*+ forced me to buy the lacy skirt and the matching arm warmers/protectors. The top lace-layer is non-flexi, so the skirt stays a bit in shape…the other lacy layers are separate from the chequered ones, so it has a nice flowy look to it. The belt is part of the skirt. The arm thingies have lacy bits as well, so it’s a fab match. For more detailed pixies, please check my flickr.

I’ve been to Vette’s Boutique before, she was taking part in the Easter Egg Hunt as well, but funnily I’ve never bought something. Well, obviously I did by now…The black cardigan and the scarf. The scarf is build from a normal prim-attachment to your spine and one top clothes layer. All three layers are included in the box, so you can decide where to wear your scarf. I’ve chosen the shirt-layer, so it’s under the cardigan. The scarfs come in different colours, the cardigan doesn’t *sniffs*.

I decided to add some pinkish bikini-top to give the overall look at least a pinch of colour.

The hair from Hiccup was a present/freebie, I don’t know if it’s still available as such. The colour of the cap can easily be altered via the edit-menu. Yay!

Lazy (stylish) Sunday!

This outfit started with the cozy just-out-of-bed-pants from *UnToneQuilt*, which might have been worn all night, or since Friday…No one wants to know really. In this store you can find a few of those comfy pants (one denim version) which are ideal to be worn under skirts or just on themselves.

I loved the tutu (which is a huge pile of fun over any pins or pants) and the graffiti corsage (Yay!) from Canimal for some time and that was finally the “OK, you’re allowed to buy them now!” (I’ve set myself that rule, otherwise I’d buy anything without actually having a plan how to wear it…yes, I need a plan *harhar*)…of course the stripey gloves jumped in the bag  unnoticed! Naughty little things!

I was playing with my skins and somehow found one that I’ve never worn before (O.O), and the bright red lips went rather well with the red in the top. So I stayed with red, although a lot of other cardigans were tried on.

I remembered (yep, that happens from time to time) the Party Pumps from Shiny Things, which I had once tried on and Yay! the ruffles match the skirt! Yay again!

Weeks later, when I made the pictures, I was really reminded of one of my cousins, who was actually into ballet and a nutty fan of Flashdance (she’s 41 now and still a bit nuts, must run in the family)…and I remembered (again!) her being dressed up and dancing around the house and singing…and she had that kind of hair. OK, that’s boring…but that gave the pic a more colourful background than I had in mind.

You can see four other pix if you like on my flickr!

Anyone’s seen the title?

Bah! It took me all day to give up! Not that I’m sitting here for four hours, starring on the screen trying to think of some catchy title…it’s not that bad with me…I hope…

This look started with the legwarmers from Primitive Design. I have a thing for those leg-wrappers in general and so it’s no surprise that something with flexi-prims, barbed wire and blood stains might attract my interest. They are available in several colours, most of them in black-blah combinations and one rainbow, which isn’t really a colour bomb, simply all available colours in one thing. Surely I’d like to see something like that in a more girlie version, but who would be buying that except me? *dreams of bunnies on pink with flowers and barbed wire, blood* hm…

Since the shape isn’t the tallest (and I didn’t want to change it), I decided to get a very short skirt from Dutch Touch. I really love this store, but the problem with it is that I like EVERYTHING! So I told myself a few days before that (yes, I talk to myself, but at least not aloud) next time you check Dutch Touch and get SOMETHING! I did what I was told…*hrhr* Oh, while I’m at it…Looking very much forward to this!

The rest was waiting in my inventory and I was able (at last!) to get me that funny curly something (for the head) from BooN! Yay!

Oh and as usual, a few more pix over at flickr. Not as much as usual, so please only click if you’re really, really bored.

Potty with me!

Yep, Potty Training was to hot for a title…even for me…lucky you! (Oh my!)

Your Flickr-nutties might have seen this outfit already (no, I’m not going to write this every time)….

Oookaay!

The default skirt is a good thing for the so called plus size girls. Of course you should reduce your arse and saddle as usual, but not to zero, ’cause it might look very, very weird. I don’t understand, why so many seem to hate the real skirt…I love it! This one comes in a million colours, which makes it easy to fit with any outfit. I decided to wear the more basic denim-version, because there are lots of colours hopping around already. It comes with matching glitch-pants, so you don’t have to worry about frozen legs! Yay!

The jacket is from Digit Darkes, which has some cute little things around the store, very nice little details here and there. Besides the skirt, the rest was lurking around my inventory already. The belt from artilleri was a bit tricky to fit around the waist. OK, there’s a catch with those real skirts…there’s a gap around the waistband, which has to be covered (this only happens, if you can’t put bum/saddle to Zero).

Not much more to say, you can check the whole springiness on flickr.

Oh, the lashes and that thing in my mouth were group-presents from BP*-update-group ♥…aawww!

渋谷へ行きましょう!

1. My Japanese sucks.

2. My lazy days are over-blah announcement sucks.

3. My Dyson sucks.

Har-har…OK…I’ll stop now with the funny stuff. *tries to pull herself together*

Inspired by those beautiful ladies and loads of TV-reports about their hygiene-issues (body and home) I wanted to do this for some time. It took me a while to find a matching skin, because it’s obviously not something that you’d find over at MMS or Tuli or [enter favourite brand here]. Although I have to say, for me they could have a bit more make-up around the eyes and more weirdly coloured lips…but at least the skin-tone’s something!

I was thinking of those, spending their summer days on the beach and the nights mainly on the streets and clubs in Shibuya…hmm, and that’s what came out. The shoes might be a bit too glamorous but at least they’re pink and cute. Before I go on with my smattering about Japanese (sub-) culture…*simulates coughing fit”

Click for full enlightenment!

MiaSnow Myriam released just lately (or I was sleeping) her own ganguro skin range, which I put for comparison next to the one I got in March.

As you can see, they’re different! Wow, what an observer I am!

The one from Draconic Kiss is on the left, Mia‘s on the right, which has a more natural look, especially hairy bits (No, I didn’t check there!) and shininess. I can’t say which I like best, this is why I stuck to the original choice, but made a few pix with the Mia skin as well.

Hungry Breasts!

Yep, just another weird title and disappointment for those actually looking for breasts. Well, they’re there, but…

In my last post I presented (woo-woo!) my first approach to dress my new shape. For this one (done the same day) I put my usual dress sense (harhar) into it, by checking my inventory and landmarks for my favs. I decided quite quickly that I wanted to wear one of the Veschi hooded sweaters, the skirt from BP* was also an easy choice, because it’s shape is just ideal for my figure. What really was a fight were the shoes. Since I wanted something casual the lovely fitting heals from Stiletto Moody weren’t an option. So I tried tons of demos over at Shiny Things. Problematic are those calves! You can’t stretch upper parts of boots that much. Well you could, but that’ll look like…erm…sh*t? Making your legs thin, just to fit the boots would be cheating…so I stuck with those lovely stompers.

For my last outfit (see post before) I heard nice things like “You look like sh*t!”. With this one it was just a “You looked better before! You look granny-ish!”. But that was a person, who could be on Fashion Police on a daily basis…so….*coughs* I like it and that’s that!

…not your usual pageant-girl…

I’d seen MiaSnow Myriam’s creations around Flickr and various blogs and that day (aaww!) I decided to finally get to her store and grap something! I loved the shirt since I saw it on some blog (giving proper credit is something I still have to learn) and skins were really inviting to create something new (for me). Look at that smile! *bling* The skin looks really scruffy, with weird/funny/cute tattoos all over the body, even some bruises. Junkie naturally slutty says it all, I suppose. *hrhr*

Having bought the cute shorts from Ducknipple already, I had the urge for something around the hip…I browsed my favourite shops and found this *points out* at AVZ! It belongs to a complete outfit called Harajuku Urbanix, but you can buy the items separately! Yay!

I’d like to point out the amazing details which Primitive Design offer in their jewellery, so I made some close-ups as well. The green stuff in the necklace actually moves/turns! For the full prim-heaven, you can check them as well on Flickr.

Is that a dachshund?

First: Versteck has a new location and a cute little sale going on! Everything 25L$! Shop!

My last two outfits were too kind to the eyes, so now it’s time again for some “looking like I stepped out of a child’s colouring book“…*hrhr* (taken from a comment on some blog on some very popular topic yesterday)

In case you’re reading this, because you got attracted by the main pic, I’m telling you no news, that KUROTSUBAKI is packed with cute, innovative, affordable stuff. I found this jacket, when I was doing a bit of shop-hopping just to kill some time. I’d been quite a few times at that store (the former main-store it was) but had never noticed those adorable bright thingies! Argh! Although the red appealed to me the most, I chose the yellow one. Yellow isn’t really that popular for clothes/fashion, so I had the smell of challenge up my nose (and my finger…yikes!) and of course I loved the UK-theme going on…(could that sausage-dog pass as a corgi?). Please note the prim-details for the arms, which makes the whole thing look more girly and less unisex.

Besides the hair, the rest came easily together. The T-shirt from Thimbles was living in my inventory since I first noticed the store (poor thing!). I bought it, because it was so ugly…three totally different patterns in one shirt! Yay! It really gives the whole outfit a nice little push out of the yellow and the blue in it connects with the denim-skirt. The skirt and the leg-warmers (heaters!) satisfied my daily dose of BP* for that day. Since I keep all hair-demos I ever liked, I found this hair from Cake…nothing new really, but a great match with its rather scruffy, messed-up look.

Accidentally in Black

Ooops! Usually I’m not into all-black outfits (…but don’t mind rugby players *harhar*…), but if you buy with less thinking than usual, you might put your personal preferences aside.

Out of boredom I was checking some LMs in my inventory and also stopped at ::69:: (which opened a new main-store today!). Opposite of the store I browsed through :sey and found some nice pieces. I decided to buy a rock-chick-ish (huh?) jacket. Trying it on at home it slowly dawned on me, that :sey parka-black wave-for men is indeed for men! How could I’ve known??? Hood’s too big, upper arm thingies are too big, belt’s too big. I had to reduce it to the parts that are modifiable. My former plan of skinny jeans went down the drains and the lovely BP* skirt didn’t look too bad with the jacket. To give the whole thing at least some hint of colour I decided on using the rather pale skin with bright make-up from Minnu. The pumps from Shiny Things are just perfect, because they are not just black, but grey as well (wow, what a keen perception!), which goes very well with the jacket.

Perfect AO: Drama Queen from ANA_Mations (especially if it’s free *hrhr*)

By the way…the jacket is available for the ladies as a hooded coat in several textures/colours.

Oi! Horns off!

Being slow it took me SL-ages (RL days hopefully) to notice the addition to Cotton Candy: Cherry Buttons! I spent a lot of L$ there and stumbled into Thimbles on my way. Looooads of crazy stuff there and I bought something surprisingly wearable, yet slightly nutty in details (s. title for this post). The skirt from *DP*YumYum was a brilliant match (yeah, there’s my word again!)…and let’s not forget about the cute lamp (which includes the pose)! Don’t know if anyone will notice, but that was around the ETD-sale, which is why you’ll see lots of ETD-haired outfits 😉

I fell into the paint-pot…again!

This outfit may look easy breezy (yikes!) but it involved quite a bit of shopping and close inventory inspections.

The skirt is yet again a CSR-present, in this case from BP*, but you can buy at in the shops by now. I chose the big hair, to give it more balance (yeah, I really think about something like that), since the skirt isn’t exactly skintight. With the hair being red I dipped the rest in the paint-pot…Tree of SL does not disappoint there (bag, boots, bangles, cardi).

Dancing Queen

Wishful thinking…

I put this together to have a cute, innocent looking (Well, of course I am innocent) dance outfit, far away from the “Here are my tits, here’s my arse, here’s my tip-jar”-look.

First thing I bought was the skirt. I already had another skirt from TOSL (s. here) so I had to get the other model anyway 😉 . Those skirts always look kind of wrong on the pictures, but they have an appealing movement, which looks even better when you’re dancing. As far as I remember, it was a real pain to find shoes and top until I was 100% satisfied with the look of it. A new (Minnu) skin had to be bought as well at the end, ’cause I didn’t look innocent enough…I am NOT wearing prim-lashes, they’re painted on the skin (obviously). Yay!

Rug me!

I remember (wow!) lurking around CREAMSHOP again and again, especially around those rugs with anchors and crowns; then I saw some Japanese avatar wearing both…I interpreted that as a sign and went shopping.

The hair was a real fight, I had to buy two packs from Armidi until I found that hair colour (No, I couldn’t tell from the colours on show), which is a great match. The top from DUTCH TOUCH was a mistake at first, because I was using add to outfit, but it happened to look rather good. 😉
