Not such a big challenge actually…

As my five readers know, I hold a firm place in the elite of lazy bloggers and as always I say, I could go on and on but won’t, but still I’m doing it and blahblahblah (wow, that was short! Yay!).

2009-09-11_00031

I’m no real fashionista. I scan all the feeds for new stuff, outfits I like, new bloggers, bloggers I haven’t noticed before and blah. But I never know what’s going on in the circles of all those succesful and famous SL fashion bloggers, so I usually miss any challenge being announced (thanks to my feed-scanning I sometimes notice a pattern) or, even if I read about it, I’m just not interested or so to speak…challenged.
If you got this far in this pile of awesome blah, you probably might have noticed what challenge I’ve noticed and (oh, wow!) decided to be inspired by. (No, I don’t get inspired…I just wanted to use that term. Yay! Oh, wait! Maybe that is inspiration already? Yep! Brain cells not capable of thinking this through…Lucky you!)

!Tadah! Hybie’s Blogger Challenge

2009-09-11_00032

If you’re the one person who is actually following my blog for over a year or so, you might remember I once had a chubby avatar which I used for several blog posts. Thanks to my mad tagging skillz they’re not easy to find chubby and plus size shows me three…*shrugs*
This time I took my usual shape and just beefed it up a little. When I took those pictures earlier, I was really shocked by my normal shape…you might (hopefully) see it yourself.

Prim-attachments are a real woman’s enemy…or are the designers? (WARNING! Deficit of brain cell function cannot support this topic! WARNING!) OK OK! Yes, stick-women are as real as me…erm…hold on…*ponders* Oh, whatever! Even with my stick-shape (*sighs*) I have problems with belts, because my hips are too broad or my arse is too fat (erm?). For a top I went straight to my stuff I bought at Fashionably Dead but never managed to wear who knows why-Folder (it’s more like a subfolder of a subfolder of a subfolder, but it’s basically the same *nods*). I don’t have to tell you how cute it is, thankfully you might be able to take a look at the pictures (or OMG click them for a larger view). For seam-lovers: It looks funny from the side! I don’t care, I don’t mind…I wouldn’t blog it otherwise, but just that you know. *nods* The top is available in several colours! Yay!

Those comfy red pants are actually for men, made by one of my favourite colour bomb stores Amerie’s Naughty. I had to make those chunky prims quite small, but they’re…erm…chunky, so it’s easy to adjust them (resize script, for those who wonder about that kind of things).

As you can see they have some wild pattern going on up there and also a pre-printed/painted belt…which in this case, is not an exact match with the necklace…but since when do I care? *harhar* No need to say, available in different colours (even black! OMG!), right?
I blogged those shoes before (in black), they’re from LOTTA and are more of a mid-heel and cute as me. Different colours *yawns* and animal print *yays* available!

The necklace is from TOSL, also one of my old time favourites. Of course I chose the one with the most colours attached, but it’s available in uni-colours and matching dangly earrings can be purchased as well.

Wow, quite a lot of pics for one post. I bet it totally looks yucky on most machines, but mine! Sorry for that! :p

Please kick me!

I spend most of my day blahing…so why can’t I blah that easily when it comes to blogging? This outfit isn’t even that special…ARGH!

Oh, of course I’m not short on excuses!
First I moved to my new home…which is an Openspace sim and required some work. Pix and LM! Please come and visit! I bite! 😉
Second…I have a new keyboard…since Friday….*coughs*…erm…ya, that’s it actually…*coughs*

For this outfit I went straight to Armidi. Yes, I know…it isn’t exactly a brilliant new fashion find, but I knew what I was looking for. I had the urge to get a new outfit for my chubby avatar. I buy a lot of stuff which is meant for that shape, but don’t fit/don’t work/whatever. So this time I was determined to do it right, by chasing for non-prim-items only.
The top fits me very well, because it covers the belly *coughs* and it’s nice looking with big tits *coughs*. The pants have the cuffs already printed on, so you don’t have to work on clumpy prims that add to your thunder-thighs.

I added the torn white socks from Canimal…I somehow don’t like the legs naked, don’t ask me why. They might look wrong for some *hrhr*

Overall it’s nothing special, but it fits well and its colours aren’t a punch in your face/eye/where ever you like to be punched. Sorry for the cool but bad pic, the shoes from Periquita come with a decent heel and a cute grey flower on the side. The ring’s from TOSL, cute detailed cherries for your fingers. (necklace available as well, I think ;-))
The earrings from creamshop have shiny bits and come in a pile of cool colours. Fatpack’s best! 😉

Click on the pic will bring you to my flickr…Yaaaay!

Hungry Breasts!

Yep, just another weird title and disappointment for those actually looking for breasts. Well, they’re there, but…

In my last post I presented (woo-woo!) my first approach to dress my new shape. For this one (done the same day) I put my usual dress sense (harhar) into it, by checking my inventory and landmarks for my favs. I decided quite quickly that I wanted to wear one of the Veschi hooded sweaters, the skirt from BP* was also an easy choice, because it’s shape is just ideal for my figure. What really was a fight were the shoes. Since I wanted something casual the lovely fitting heals from Stiletto Moody weren’t an option. So I tried tons of demos over at Shiny Things. Problematic are those calves! You can’t stretch upper parts of boots that much. Well you could, but that’ll look like…erm…sh*t? Making your legs thin, just to fit the boots would be cheating…so I stuck with those lovely stompers.

For my last outfit (see post before) I heard nice things like “You look like sh*t!”. With this one it was just a “You looked better before! You look granny-ish!”. But that was a person, who could be on Fashion Police on a daily basis…so….*coughs* I like it and that’s that!

Thank *beep* for stretchy fabrics!

(Please enter appropriate worship character for the *beep*!)

Actually I gave up shape shopping a long time ago, but (bored as usual) on one shopping spree I saw those shapes over at PUDGE. I bought the Zosia Plus Size Shape and took a very close look at my new me. After I ‘d tried some clothes on, I figured…hm, not that easy if you want to look good/normal/blah…I altered the shape a bit, made it a bit taller and some other small changes…ok, that’s boring.

I put on some of my sleeping Veschi-fat*hrhr*-packs and I liked that on me *points to picture*. Of course the skirt is quite short, but with those lovely tights? 😉

sweater and skirt: Cozily Brown Sweater from Veschi (comes with the skirt as a set)

tights: Tights Nylon Leaves Black from *Sheer*

shoes: Elegant Slingback (Black Twinkle) from Stiletto Moody

hair: booN TOM14 hair ash from booN

eyes: Dunno! Inventory swallowed this information! Looks like BP*’s eyes…?
