Recycling…

…or the a truck drove over my upper part of the body-look.

My three readers might notice a few things were blogged before. I don’t do that very often, especially not for clothes. In this case I wanted to create (hoo!) a certain look (hoo!)….and you can’t deny that the chunky bracelet from TOSL matches the skirt (yes, it’s not a belt!)…at least colour wise. I had to take the close-up for it without my arm…I gained a few pixels and no-mod jewellery sucks. [insert deep sigh here]

I first saw a skirt from Luck Inc. in a picture of Amerie’s flickr stream. She was wearing a black one with cleverly placed skulls on it. You’ll find a huge selection of patterns for that little skirty thingy…to no one’s surprise I also bagged the Checkers Rainbow version.
With all those colours going on some appliance love had to be added. What’s better than a kettle and a rice-cooker rubbing each other in love on your chest? They’re doing it on your back as well, which really keeps you warm at all times. The T-shirt’s from Toastface, made by the lovely Uma Ceawlin. I could also recommend the I ♥ Pocky and the Kawaii desu ne shirt.

Those shoes….I have no idea why I bought them, really. They were collecting inventory dust for months and I already put them from my New!!!-folder (what’s not been used yet, stays “new”) into my normal clothes folder, because I wasn’t able to wear them in a satisfactory manner (aha?). Yaaaay! At last they’re matching the outfit in my sick little brain cell! With the white jacket (recycled from my La Roux inspired *coughs* outfit), the blue and the white and the blah…Tadaha! (Yes, that’s what’s going on in my brain cell!)
I blogged the bruised skin from fashionably dead already, but it’s not really recycled, because I bought it in another skin tone! Yay! XD Again combined with my favourite bruised shirt from Drowsy, which adds some more pain to your arms….and hopefully to some people’s eyes as well!

Not such a big challenge actually…

As my five readers know, I hold a firm place in the elite of lazy bloggers and as always I say, I could go on and on but won’t, but still I’m doing it and blahblahblah (wow, that was short! Yay!).

I’m no real fashionista. I scan all the feeds for new stuff, outfits I like, new bloggers, bloggers I haven’t noticed before and blah. But I never know what’s going on in the circles of all those succesful and famous SL fashion bloggers, so I usually miss any challenge being announced (thanks to my feed-scanning I sometimes notice a pattern) or, even if I read about it, I’m just not interested or so to speak…challenged.
If you got this far in this pile of awesome blah, you probably might have noticed what challenge I’ve noticed and (oh, wow!) decided to be inspired by. (No, I don’t get inspired…I just wanted to use that term. Yay! Oh, wait! Maybe that is inspiration already? Yep! Brain cells not capable of thinking this through…Lucky you!)

!Tadah! Hybie’s Blogger Challenge

If you’re the one person who is actually following my blog for over a year or so, you might remember I once had a chubby avatar which I used for several blog posts. Thanks to my mad tagging skillz they’re not easy to find chubby and plus size shows me three…*shrugs*
This time I took my usual shape and just beefed it up a little. When I took those pictures earlier, I was really shocked by my normal shape…you might (hopefully) see it yourself.

Prim-attachments are a real woman’s enemy…or are the designers? (WARNING! Deficit of brain cell function cannot support this topic! WARNING!) OK OK! Yes, stick-women are as real as me…erm…hold on…*ponders* Oh, whatever! Even with my stick-shape (*sighs*) I have problems with belts, because my hips are too broad or my arse is too fat (erm?). For a top I went straight to my stuff I bought at Fashionably Dead but never managed to wear who knows why-Folder (it’s more like a subfolder of a subfolder of a subfolder, but it’s basically the same *nods*). I don’t have to tell you how cute it is, thankfully you might be able to take a look at the pictures (or OMG click them for a larger view). For seam-lovers: It looks funny from the side! I don’t care, I don’t mind…I wouldn’t blog it otherwise, but just that you know. *nods* The top is available in several colours! Yay!

Those comfy red pants are actually for men, made by one of my favourite colour bomb stores Amerie’s Naughty. I had to make those chunky prims quite small, but they’re…erm…chunky, so it’s easy to adjust them (resize script, for those who wonder about that kind of things).

As you can see they have some wild pattern going on up there and also a pre-printed/painted belt…which in this case, is not an exact match with the necklace…but since when do I care? *harhar* No need to say, available in different colours (even black! OMG!), right?
I blogged those shoes before (in black), they’re from LOTTA and are more of a mid-heel and cute as me. Different colours *yawns* and animal print *yays* available!

The necklace is from TOSL, also one of my old time favourites. Of course I chose the one with the most colours attached, but it’s available in uni-colours and matching dangly earrings can be purchased as well.

Wow, quite a lot of pics for one post. I bet it totally looks yucky on most machines, but mine! Sorry for that! :p

Attack of the Pencil

A few days ago I saw those pictures popping up amongst my contacts on Flickr. They’re from James Schwarz: If I could make clothes in SL. (click pic for link to his Flickr-stream)

One day later I saw this. I know that from somewhere, I thought to myself (I don’t have a brain, so it is actually tricky to access memory). From the comments (click pic for Flickr-page) I found out, that Jojorunoo Runo created a virtual real version of one of his sketches and is offering it as a freebie in her little store (s. SLurl down there). Spending ZERO L$ doesn’t usually do it for me, so I also grabbed the new(ish) Summer Noodle Chairs as well, which go nicely with the 11prim skybox! Yay! *coughs*

Then I got really excited about this and felt a rush to do a weird outfit with it. Well, at the end it is not that weird, but still….
The pants from :sey have been in my NEW!!!-folder for SL-ages because there was always some colour or pattern or both interfering with it (Aha? Right…). Thanks to the colourless nature of the shirt it was an instant flush of happiness. Awww!
I tried a lot of hair, but when I accidentally had some hair from booN in ash on my skull I tped. Then I got shot several times, reported that to LL and blahblah…at the end I had some short hair and some braid-attachment in my inventory. Yay! BooN is offering several additional hair pieces…a bit overpriced compared for the full-style versions, so check the price before you buy (A wise thing to do…always!), but a great way to spice up your…skull…*nods*

What I love about items from COCO…they’re usually mod and can be tinted, which I didn’t do in this case thanks to the colour-bomb pants/leggings/tights from Amerie’s Naughty. They come in all layers and with two different types of prim-legs. The back is covered with an almost eye-pleasing black-and-white chequered pattern (s. title pic).

Actually I was looking for a long (plain) T-shirt, but couldn’t find anything that made me happy. So I dug deep into my (well sorted) inventory and found this skirt from a set from **DP**yumyum (the one with the shoes on the shirt and the black lace leggings) and the black shirt from Tres Blah.

The bracelets are part of the arm-warmers…in my blurry eyes they match the colours in the leggings perfectly, surprisingly they’re from Amerie’s Naughty as well! 😛

I am hoping that my cry for a Bulletproof-skin on Plurk inspired Nuuna Nitely to do a lovely pack of seven skins with different eye-stripes (aha?). They’re not sold anywhere as of yet, but you can contact her and get the pack for 150L$. From the description it’s a Combined Eloh Eliot’s skin Pleiades, Sezmra Svarog’s Splenor skin…in case you’re interest.

The hair I discovered *huaha* amongst my Flickr contacts, it’s from Vanity Hair. If you’re looking for something more In For The Kill-look (huh?), take a look at Truth‘s Ivy style. (Thanks for the tip, Flutter Memel!)

Yummy Dotty!

Back to colours! Yay!

I can’t remember what happened in January, the same goes with this outfit. (Huh? o.ô)

The Dotty Deliciousness from Twosome can be worn as a tunic (also with a see-through primy thingy) or as a skirt and a short top. Wearing both, tunic and skirt looks a bit christmastreeish, but if that’s what you’re looking for? *shrugs* It’s priced only 120L$! Yay!

I threw this on in January, so I guess because it was still winter I decided to wear some dirty denims from Primitive Design with it. They go lovely with the post party skin from Tuli, which was a freebie. I’m not sure if it’s still available…but Tuli has a great choice of…er…great skins! 😉
The bangles from Fresh Baked Goods can be colourised like crazy. Look, how I matched the colours of the dress…or not…*coughs* SOREAL‘s Superstars are not that versatile as UBU’s trainers, but come in several styles and with the fat-pack comes one pair with an easy choose-your-style-hud. Yay! (again)

Things I never do in RL…

I never smoke. In fact I hate smoking from my heart and IT’S BAD, KIDS! DON’T DO IT!
I never wear black. In fact I hate black clothes from my….erm…heart.
I never wear false or even long nails. I can’t blah (aka type) with long nails.
I never tuck my shirt in. NEVER!

Wow! What a pile of useless information! Yay!

When I got this shirt, I was kindly informed that it’s for men. Thanks to the print and not much moob-shading, I couldn’t care less. Mr Lazy Pants from Primitive Design AT LAST understood (that’s what I’m hoping) the necessity of layers and is offering his last two releases (both shirts, the other with heavy mooby shading) with all layer-options. Yay!

Trying on several pants from my NEW-folder I got stuck on a pair from ~momo~. Of course it’s available in lovely colours as well, but the shirt screamed at me: BLACK, STUPID! (Yes, it did!)

I got a bit excited and informed poor Bunny about my OMG I’m doing an all-black-outfit, but then had problems bringing it together (hope someone knows what I mean with that) until I tried demos from .::cumu::.. Yay!
The skin’s from Fashionably Dead and has no make-up so I covered it up with a fab pair of shades from Steinwerk. (Harhar, funny….*yawns*) They may look harmless, but they are scripted and come with 3,438 options (frame, lenses, decor, opacity …) and have also an animation to push them up (and they’ll stay there). Check out the demo for full impact!

The cardigan from COCO is one of my favourite pieces at the moment. You don’t look naked (Yeah right, with a T-shirt!) and you can still see the shirt underneath. It originally comes in white (but is also available in various patterns/colours), but as all parts are mod you can tint it as you please. Yay!

Yay!

Wow! Amazing title!

I’m quite sure this must have been a coke-infused lovely day back in January. I can’t really remember what started this harmony of colours….*coughs*
The shirt is from Tres Blah and gives joy through different layer-options and a decent choice of colours.
The skirt from UnToneQuilt can be worn without the prim belt, comes with a plain denim-belt as well…and may even be worn without the prim-skirt as shorts. Yay!
All the brownish stuff is available in different colours as well. Regarding the glasses from Yummy, the lenses don’t fit the frame 100%, but who cares with this fab design?…I don’t…The tights from Kookie are no-mod, but come in all bottom layers..so for full coverage you should wear socks and underpants/pants-layer the same time. They go up high, that’s why you can see them between top and skirt. Loads of blah for socks/tights/leggings! Nay!

Headless Chicken

I’m an expert in getting injured at home. Never something serious but scratches here, colourful (yay!) bruises there. Running into my bathroom shelf is always a joy!

That I love Drowsy might be a known fact amongst my three readers, but my favourite is the tomboy shirt. A simple white shirt with added bandages, bruises and plasters! Yay!
When checking out the new(ish) skins from Fashionably Dead I was surprised to see the Trouble Lady, on Flickr I mainly saw crazy brows or no-brows. Unfortunately the demos only provide the choice of skin-tones, not make-ups. Please be aware of the upper body part (s. pic), as there’s a bandage wrapped around…oh, and they don’t have ANYthing down there. So a prim-genitalia might be a nice addition if in…er…action. 😉

No need to stress that I instantly had the tomboy shirt back on and also found the glasses from Skinzor Liquid Candy in my inventory with cute attached razor blade…Yay!

All those bandages, bruises, blood made me think of a rather simple outfit. The banana-top is from the Cheer you up tops! range from Twosome! Yay! (See, it’s working!). See Shelby’s Flickr for full choice of tops! The colour (harhar) matching shoes from LOTTA come with scripted colour-changeable bows and have a mid-high heel (in SL-standards).

I added some cute and cheerful bracelets and a belt, the latter being part of one of Tuli‘s amazing group-presents. The denim thingy from BUKKA can be changed in fabric and metal-parts via a menu. Yay!

This time I will not blah about how lazy and … er blah I am. At first I wanted to blah about my social SL, but now I drank too much tea (Yes! no Coke yet!) and want to get this thing done. Good for you, I think.

I skipped quite a few outfits, I just don’t like them anymore. Aww the bliss of lazy fashion blogging. Obviously this is an old one, the last from 2008 to be precise.

The jacket (comes only as a jacket-layer) from Nylon Outfitters is lovingly hand crafted and can survive without 3000 prim attachments, which left some room for the arm-warmers from Maitreya. Yay! I guess, I was feeling a bit cold that day, so I wore a pink sweater from **DP**YUMYUM underneath (underpants layer for kidney protection). The shirt is actually to pretty to be hidden and I cleverly made a close-up from the two-layer-look around the neck….not. *sighs*
The flats are from Five minutes after…my two regular readers know, I had a minor virtual heart attack due to the closed-or-not-confusion and I really wanted those flats! Feeling Drowsy? Yay!

I’ve got a little obsession with Drowsy since the little store opened on the Koenji sim. *coughs*

I wonder if it might have something to do with the fact, that it’s a collaboration between BP*‘s BettiePage Voyager, Zero Number‘s Mai Runo and Kurotsubaki‘s Nico Rotaru and sato Yifu? Hmm….tough question…*coughs again*

Every shirt is only 85L$ and even better than it looks, for our pleasure all layers are included as well.
Some of them have back prints on them, which can’t be seen in the store. If you feel an addiction coming up, you should check out their Flickr streams (see links under some of the names) or just buy every single shirt (I’m getting there!). Also you might get a better view by clicking the pics from the store…there’s one shirt hanging at the table I couldn’t get on the picture but I hope you get *harhar* the picture!

Really? Hello?

Dear four readers,

yes…again those pants from BP*, again those trainers from UBU and I am NOT sorry!

For those who have missed (Really? Hello?) the existence of BP*‘s new(ish) denims with enough leg-room to hide two cats or smaller dogs:
They’re available in different colours, all with different colour options for the chequered parts (blue, purple, red/white). The leg parts come with a script so you may even go two toned.

For those who have missed (Really? Hello?) the existence of UBU‘s new(ish) trainers with enough style possibilities to hide the fact, that’s it’s really just one pair:
They come with a barkingly handy hud to colourise/texturise all those different parts of the shoe you wouldn’t even know a name for. There’s no sound, no bling, but glow! Yay!

The blouse I am wearing there *points downwards* is from Kurotsubaki and yet another frequently seen combination with those pants. No, I am NOT sorry! It comes in two options, one with a bigger opening down there. Of course it’s available in different colours/patterns as well. Kurotsubaki has a good choice of hippieesque (What?!) clothes, if you don’t know the store  (Really? Hello?) you should check it out! NOW!

The hair from Mirai Style has a lovingly added script to change the bandanna, which styles are available can be seen on the vendor…I couldn’t find them in the demo version though. Mirai Style offers unusual hair colours, interesting textures and of course crazy hair-styles. It’s one of my favourites to stop by in the search of hair-explosions. *hrhr* (Yes, that’s for you, Bunny!♥)

I haven’t changed my favourite skin maker (LeLutka! This is my first from the Helsinki-line. Some people hate this brand, I love the skins (not the price) *sighs*) but my eyeball-maker! Yay! These are from Poetic Eyes and I’ve seen them quite often on Flickr . At last I got bored by my usual brown eyes from LeLutka…my favourite colour is shallow water. They’re making the blue ones worn here look boring…almost…oh and they come in three sizes!

New Girl on the Blogs

True, I’m not new on the blogs….I’m just unbelievable lazy and blah. A lot of arse-kicking happened! *nods*

This is an outfit I put together last November (yes…November *blushes*).
The sweater dress from UnToneQuilt had been waiting for some time in my inventory and had to be forced out on my avatar. I tried a lot…loads of colours, denims, pants blahblah. Finally when I fell into my BP*-socks folder, I was happy. Yay! I simply put anything purple I could find on my avatar and as usual I was rather pleased with myself. 😉
The bangles are from Armidi and Argyle. Noelle Eilde (from Argyle) is not designing/creating anymore (atm), which is rather sad…her bangle collection is really nice and available in well coordinated colour-combinations.
I love the trainers from Kari for it’s cute and unique designs (click upper pic for a full dose of cuteness)…of course available in different colours, each with its own print.
With the short tie from Kyoot I was aiming for added credibility *coughs*….

Yay! It’s time for some newish outfits….even two in one…wow! *barks*

Obviously I love fatpacks, bright colours and Maitreya. Both outfits include the new(ish) top from Primitive Design, both with the same backprint and available in even brighter colours than the orange. Yay! The straps look a bit sloppy, but tests have shown it’s my shape…*shrugs* so covering it up with lovely new hair from Maitreya is a good idea. They’re jacket-layer only btw….*hrmpf* The scarf thingy is from Maitreya as well *yawns*…it comes with a script for easy choice of length, flexi and blah. In this case I set it to flexi and it hardly ever sticks through my avatar’s body. Another yay!

The second outfit started with the OMG SKINS!!!-group present from Curio, which makes me look quite sad, I already chose different eyebrows and still sad…*shrugs* Thanks to the red/pink/orange going on (Firehouse is a well chosen name for this makeup) I chose my current favourite shorts from Pink Outfitters and the orange shirt from PD. Thanks to the jacket-layer only I put on some tattoos from Canimal(top) and anuenue(leg) for warmth as well (I actually did so for the other outfit as well, but I forgot about it, silly me…again…blah). For the dose of Maitreya I added the Coin Belt in Auburn and of course the hair.

This one feels like ages ago…in SL-terms it is ages ago. *shrugs*

Just to be sure, I checked if the pants are still available and they are! Yay!
As far as I can remember this was the result of an attack (*yawns*) at Glam World, now LeLutka where I grabbed the skin, hair and the pants from Cachet (available in different tones). The sim’s closed from today for renovations, so my SLurls won’t work and may even be wrong. Sorry for that.
With that on my avatar there was still some colour missing and I chose this red top from ~momo~, which goes nicely with the colour of the lips.

I’m still alive! I think…

I’ve decided to do more recent outfits as well, maybe one old, one new, one blah…The Same Damned Thing challenge was way too much fun and I enjoyed it more than digging in old folders. I even managed to shop, dress, take pic AND blog the same day! Yay!
I’d say most of you don’t give a pooped rainbow about when I actually threw those items on my avatar anyway, so with this I’m joining Gah! Not that shitty shirt/boot/hair/blah again! but will stay with WTF is she blogging about old freebies that nobody can get anymore? What do I care about winter-coats? It’s June, idiot! (etc. pp. blahlah)

Just after the new Albero district had reopened, I was hit by a serious, hours lasting shopping attack. The hair and bracelet from booN and the shirt from Spice&Sugar, part of amerie’s NAUGHTY found their way into my inventory.  (In case someone cares about my categories, I’ll put that in amerie’s Naughty) I liked the rather sad I’ve fallen out of love combined with cute pink and cute What the cute rainbow happened last night?-back. It’s also available in navy and white, but with totally different prints on it.
Being already torn on the back, I gave the bottom a torn addition with new denims from Primitive Design and boots (worn only the foot-party…obviously) from Zero Number. The cuffs of the pants are a pain to adjust…especially if your AO makes you move your legs too much, but usually I don’t have much patience when it comes to prim-squeezing…that’s why adjusting prim-lashes is a great way to lower the mood in case it’s gotten annoyingly positive. (erm…right…)

Back to my Oh, look what I’ve put together 10 years ago-routine. *yawns*

For this outfit I’d even felt some kind of inspiration! Can you believe it? Ana said somewhere that she likes purple and green. Normally I just buy stuff and miss-match it till I feel it’s good. So going out there (going in there?) and trying to do something purple-green was a bit challenging for my single brain cell.

Luckily I came across amerie’s NAUGHTY for the top in purple-green (yay!). It’s one layer and offers some serious lower arm protection.
I’m often a bit slow when it comes to my personal discovery of new-ish shops. So it took me around 20 SL-years to tp the first time to Zaara, where I greedily picked up a few pants, amongst them those shorts.
The leggings from **DP**yumyum are layer-monsters! That’s why I was able to wear three leg-layers for this outfit: Zaara shorts as pants, leggings as underwear and socks as…TADAAAH! socks. They look great as pants as well, have a “leggings-like” look, a little brand-sign and nice shadows (hope you know what I mean).

Yesterday I discovered Armidi! Why didn’t anyone tell me about this amazing sim before? What’s wrong with you people? Gosh! I grabbed this gorgeous Cambridge Cuffed Shirt in Aufren Gray from the male section.

Since we all look the same and repetitive blogging/posting makes you want something less and kills your inspiration to do your own thing, I’ll keep it short this time.

Septembers

Yep, the s there is intentional. I’ve decided to jump a few very casual, simple outfits to get things going. *coughs* Keeping already taken pictures for a week (or two already?!?) on the hard drive isn’t exactly going…So here you see the last two of September that survived…Yay them! You know I’m clever as a rubbish bin…I made the top pic before I decided to make a double post, so nothing’s there from the second outfit.

I wasn’t too excited about the first two generations of Aden‘s skins, but there’s something about the third generation which I (obviously) like, although it makes me look like 14 years old (and I’m actually 13 no wait!…53…no….). I used it for both outfits.

Fishy Strawberry bombards you with colours. Of course that makes me loose my L$ quite quickly. I bet there’s no need to mention that the minihood is available in a bunch of (tadah!) colours. Since I always try to look sophisticated and in-style (Yes, you may have just heard the echo of my coughing fit) I kept it quiet with black skinny pants from Armidi and wonderfully matching pumps from Juicy, which btw were a welcoming present if you will at the beginning of iheartsl.com. Yay! They’re actually slingbacks…just so that you know 😉

For some of my beloved three readers the second outfit might be more pleasing to the eye, but still a bit nuts…I hope (!).
The (very) short coat/cape from TOSL is even sold in COLOURS and I’m wearing black…must have been my black day. *hrhr* But believe me, it’s warm! That’s why I’m wearing shorts from Twosome (autumn shorts they’re called, so it’s OK). To keep my decency I covered up most naked flesh with cute tights from Veschi and primy socks from Maitreya, cleverly combined on knicker- and socks-layer….which means, I’m basically wearing no underwear…Yep, that’s important information right now! *nods*

Something else…I’m seriously considering to publish smaller pictures. The size right now looks good on my resolution when your on my blog directly, but not so good on the pages of some feeds I’m on. Any thoughts? How do you read this right now anyway? Is this someone reading? Am I using my brain too much today? What is a brain?…Oh dear…
