Creators Stamp Rally 2007 Winter

When I purchased a nice knitted jumper from BP*, I wondered what that StampCard thing in my inventory might be. I read the notecard only half-heartedly and didn’t quite get it. Today I understood! Wow, brainy me! Luckily I did not delete all of those stamp-cards, three survived. Cleverly attached all three cards to my HUD, I jumped the grid and found some interesting shops on the jump as well.

Oh, I bought this kotatsu (comes in three different colours!) on the way…which brought me yet another stamp-card, has yet to be filled. It’s from Over Drive.

Another Versteck!

This is another smashing dress with matching leggings from Versteck. I love the strong colours in it, which I combined with low-key hair-style and jewellery. Har-har. Look, the colours of the bangles just match the colours of the dress! Yay!…Pills! Now!

This morning I followed an invitation to look for boxes hidden around an island. As usal I didn’t find anything, except this…

As a movie lover I had to think about the scene from I, Robot. After checking a few profiles, I had (and have) a good idea what it’s all about…and I don’t like it. I won’t spread out my thoughts any further than this…*caughs*

I was invited to a wedding and surely needed something to dress appropriately. I took the chance buying this ensemble from Paper Couture, which I actually quite liked before, but it always felt too elegant for me (at that time, now I don’t really care when I like something…but I’m still not into gowns….urgs). I think the crazy but chic hairstyle gives it a nice edge. I wore a matching bracelet…couldn’t find it though…*sighs*

Do I have to mention, that the marriage didn’t last very long? I wonder what happened to the expensive baby ….I’d just marry for fun or money (or both) in SL…well, RL as well har-har.

ready for the beach

This was put together for a beach party. Bikini and sandals bought for the occasion…shorts and sweater had been waiting for action in the inventory (thanks to silly, now deleted Japanese school girl outfits and fatpack from Canimal).

I didn’t win the contest. I wore too much clothes and I wasn’t lubricated *yikes!* noone appreciates a well dressed woman anymore blahblah

One fine lovely day I lingered around “The Docks” (which doesn’t exist anymore, there’s Caribe’s Mount Pacoloco now, which isn’t a pain in the ars neck either) and ran into “Versteck”. Attrackted by the name I went inside and was amazed by the colourful and well-made looking dresses and the rather reasonable pricing. Thinking about it, I don’t know why I haven’t bought all of them by now…

Although I don’t like the shape anymore (again), I won’t change the look by playing around with the another shape…having said that I’d like to try another look with that dress *thinks*

Back to school/college/uni

This outfit happened because I was stupid (again). Actually I bought these boots to go with the Dakota dress from artilleri. I must have been drugged or something…then…I saw the jacket at Canimal and there was hope for those poor way too detailed little boots. Yay!

The tank/sweater actually came in a set with matching pants, but it was then, that I found out: boots and capris with prims on the lower leg can be an issue. *sighs*

In the navy

I loved this dress so much when I saw it at artilleri that I had to buy it. Of course there was nothing to go with it, so I had to buy everything else as well (hair, skin, jewellery, shoes). Which isn’t a problem today for me, but those good old days *yawn* the L$ wasn’t spent that light-hearted like today.

Having changed the colour of the ribbon to red (stupid me couldn’t/can’t change the blue stripes to white), the not really 100% matching shoes looked much better to me. Not perfect, but still nice to look at

Another kimono inspired outfit

Obviously in the beginning of August 07 I discovered Tuli.
This was my first hair style from Zero Style, I remember seeing it on Zero Bluecoat. She’s actually a good friend of Rei Gully (creator of the hair) and she also made me aware of the Fashion Consolidated-Group. Thanks Zero! (^-^)

Please notice the ventilation holes in the soles…very useful on a hot day.

Sleepy in Pink

When I saw this dress, or better said set (top and skirt), at Cherry Tokyo’s Kimonos I had to buy it. I had nothing much to go with it in my inventory. The hair was easy, but finding the boots nearly killed me (sorry….I said nearly har-har). After all that hard work I was really, really pleased with myself. And I still quite like it, the longer I stare at it. So if you don’t like it, stare at it!

The last survivor of July

Beside the army kimono outfit, this is the only survivor of my first month in Second Life. I don’t really like the shape anymore (to be precise: the face) but oddly enough men seeme to like it *shrugs*. Later I updated it a bit with matching jewellery. The bra you see, was my very first…That’s quite some important information, eh?

Not really a stranger though, but not one of my closest friends either.

Am I being an arse a mean person when I’m feeling rather annoyed by someone standing there for ages (80min and still standing) without any greetings, movements, knocks?

I don’t mind visitors, but do I have to provide a general hangout for those friends I don’t really chat much in private?

And no, I haven’t spoken to her. I’m a coward when it comes to being brave telling someone the obvious.

The Survivor

This wasn’t exactly my first outfit. I had a few, which were built from the fruits (oh, dear) of my first shopping attack at LastCall/Canimal and with my first bought shape, which had way too huge tits breasts, was too tall and no modify. Those days I was happy just finding stuff that matches…I didn’t really know what was out there. Poor little me….aaaawww.

So this is the one that survived several “OMG what happened to my inventory?”-moments.

I’m an awful photographer (obviously), but I couldn’t wait for my dear windlight-geek-friend (hope, he doesn’t read this) to get in the right mood, so I just made this oh, so cute shot myself. Yeah, the poster really scared me there…
